Bagua

Bagua is the youngest of the "Three Internals" of Chinese Martial Arts. Created by martial arts Master Dong Hai Chuan (1813-1882) in the mid to late 1850's. Combining what he knew of other martial arts with Daoist principles of change, natural health practices, and circle walking meditation.

Healing Art

Bagua is not only a powerful martial art, Bagua (Pakua) is a system of Qigong(chi kung). Constantly moving and changing like the I-Ching. Ba gua Zhang (Pa kua chuan) translates as Eight Trigram Palm and relates to the trigrams of the I-Ching and the principal of constant change or movement. An evolving art, each student is ultimatly encouraged to find their own movement.

Coiling, Wrapping, Knitting the Extremities to the Core, the practice of Bagua not only builds Core Strength it Awakens and Mobilizes the Spine.

Spiraling, Swirling, Twisting and Turning. Bagua's energy spings outward from the Dantien, the center of our being
